Reason for Building: Personal Enjoyment
Description: I saw a video of the plot clock on youtube which uses a similar 2 degree of freedom system to write the time every minute. I decided to figure out the inverse kinematics for the system and designed the parts in Creo to learn a new CAD software. This system utilizes servos that I had lying around as well as bearings for smooth and low friction motion. The UI is a single square pad that directs the manipulator where to move.
