Project: Nano Talon VTOL
Reason for Building: Risky Code changes
Description: This project was for Volansi, a drone delivery company I was working at 2021-2022. The purpose of the platform was to test risky proposed code changes on a cheaper and less dangerous platform. We used this platform to do precision landing code validation for landing on a moving vehicle. I used Solidworks to design the vertical flight system attachment and 3D printed the pieces. The flight control is PX4 based. The system was a little heavy, so I had plans to reduce the weight in various ways.
